Welcome to Feighcullen Farm
We, the Gray Family--Billy & Anne Marie along with our children Marie, Aine, Emma and Billy Jr., warmly welcome you to Feighcullen Farm, our home & family business.
At Feighcullen Farm, we believe in Sustainable Farming -- the practice of rearing our livestock for food in such a way that is beneficial to both the consumer and animal alike in terms of health and welfare as well as the environment. Sustainable farming treats workers, consumers, animals and our environment with respect. This is why alongside our Free-range poultry enterprises we farm organically free from the use of a herb and pesticides, allowing the natural eco-systems on our farm to thrive, replenishing the soils with the natural manure created. It’s all about give and take! As a sustainable farm, we endeavour to create our own eco-system, putting back into the environment what they take out. We believe that we should encourage and utilise what our environment naturally provides but replenish where possible to ensure resources such as water, soil and air are conserved, preserved and readily available for generations to come. In addition, sustainable agriculture seeks to minimize transportation costs and fossil fuel use, and is as locally-based as possible. Sustainable farming employs a bio-diverse model, rotating livestock to cultivate the land naturally whilst preventing disease. By farming organically not using pesticide chemicals serves to further enhance this enrichment of our environment. Sustainable farming places animal welfare at the forefront of its practice. Livestock is treated with care and respect, promoting natural feeding, behaviours and growth. In short, sustainable farming strives to satisfy the human requirement for food, doing so in a healthy and responsible manner whilst maintaining and enhancing the environment on which we all rely. We hope that you are satisfied with the turkeys chickens and ducks that are reared at Feighcullen Farm & would like to thank you for visiting us.
